Tour of Malaysia: Indian team races to 5-0 win in second Test The visiting Indian women's hockey team recorded a comfortable 5-0 win over Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday. This was India's second win in as many matches. The visitors had won the opener 3-0 on Thursday. Playing to expectations and a planned strategy, Indian girls started well taking a comfortable 3-0 lead at the end of the first half.. Though the thrird quarter remained barren, Indian girls came back in the fourth and final quarter to add two more goals to complete the rout of the local team. Navjot Kaur set the  score board in motion with a brilliant field goal in the 12th minute. Credit must go to the Malaysian girls that they did not concede even a single penalty corner goal. All five goals scored by the Indian girls were field goals. After Navjot, it was heroine of first match, Vandana Katariya, who chipped in with an amazing goal, her third of the series. Nine minutes later in the 29th minute, Navneet Kaur made it 3-0. They, however, could not sustain the pace of their fight and relented a bit in the last seven minutes, conceding field goals to Lalremsiami (54th minute) and Nikki Pradhan (55th minute).
