Travel Vlogger Shares Haunting Experience Of Her Stay In A Delhi Hotel
The shock and trauma this travel vlogger had to withstand in a hotel in Delhi all by herself was no less than a haunting nightmare. She was locked up in a hotel room, without AC, water or food with potential attackers right outside.
A US-based vlogger Jordan Taylor who goes by the name Travellight travelled to India for a project that she describes as her “dream project”. She was visiting India with her boyfriend who took a flight out four days before she was supposed to pack up and leave.
Someone from the staff even called her and said, “Hey baby…” They followed by another call the following day, where the person on the other end did not speak, he made unnatural breathing sounds.
On finding no way out, they switched off her AC from the outside and then called her to persuade her to open the door so they could come and fix it. She refused to let them in as she had heard them flip the switch outside her room, and knew that her AC was not broken but deliberately switched off to gain access to her room.
“I saw shadows under my door,” she says.
For nearly two days, she was stuck in her hotel room without food, AC, Wifi or water. In the video that she released, talking about the incident has footage that shows that someone was loitering about in the corridor outside her room.
Even though she was scared, she did not lose her calm. She observed that early in the morning, there was no one outside her door. So, on the day she was supposed to fly out, she left the hotel as early as 3:00 am in order to make a quiet escape.
