Ravi Kishan touches wife’s feet every night: Emotional moment on The Great Indian Kapil Show wins hearts online
PTC Web Desk: The cast of the upcoming action-comedy film 'Son of Sardaar 2', including Ajay Devgn, Mrunal Thakur, and Ravi Kishan, recently graced the sets of The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix. The episode was filled with laughter, candid revelations, and a touching moment that stole the spotlight.
During a fun banter, host Kapil Sharma revealed an endearing habit of Ravi Kishan: he touches his wife Preeti Kishan's feet every night before sleeping. The confession sparked an emotional and humourous exchange among the guests. Ravi, smiling, confirmed, "Yes, I do. But she never allows it, especially when she's already asleep."
Veteran actress Archana Puran Singh, a regular on the show, responded warmly, “It’s a beautiful gesture. What’s the harm?” Mrunal Thakur chimed in with a heartfelt, “Aww,” while Kapil added, “How sweet!”
Ravi then shared the touching reason behind his gesture. “She stood by me when I had nothing—no money, no fame. She never left my side. Whatever I am today, it's because of her. She deserves that respect,” he said emotionally. "The way she took care of me, it makes her worthy of this gesture."
Ajay Devgn lightened the mood with a cheeky comment: “The guiltier a man is, the more he touches his wife's feet.” This left everyone—including Ravi—in splits. Kapil quipped, “Ajay sir is playing on the front foot today!”
A clip from the episode shared on Instagram quickly went viral. Social media users praised Ravi’s humility and love for his wife. One user wrote, “True love like this is rare—hats off to Ravi sir.” Another said, “When a woman supports her partner through tough times and he acknowledges it, what more could she want?”
Ravi Kishan tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart Preeti in 1993. The couple has four children—three daughters, Riva, Tanishk, and Ishita, and a son, Saksham. Riva made her Bollywood debut with Sab Kushal Mangal, while the other siblings have stayed away from the limelight.
'Son of Sardaar 2' is set to hit theatres in August. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, N R Pachisia, and Pravin Talreja, the movie is a spiritual sequel to the 2012 hit 'Son of Sardaar'. The film also stars Sanjay Mishra and pays tribute to late actor Mukul Dev.
