Roof leakage in Vande Bharat train leaves passengers drenched, staff says 'adjust kijiye' | Watch
PTC News Desk: A student's journey from Vande Bharat to New Delhi in premium train Vande Bharat turned into a nightmare after she experience an unprecedented downpour not from the sky but from the train roof.
Darshil Mishra, final-year physical therapy student was traveling in C7 coach when he encountered the nightmare. While narrating the ordeal he said, "May trousers, tablet and other passengers were completely drenched."
"It was an eight hour ordeal. To prevent the downpour, the onboard staff switched off the AC around my berth, which was next to the entry door of the coach. Now I and the other passengers were not only drenched but continued the uncomfortable journey amid humid conditions.

The uncomfortable journey did not only restrict to the downpour but also continued after he got a dismissive response from the Railway Protection Force personnel who said 'adjust kijiye' (please adjust) when he raised the issue.
The incident widely being shared by Darshil on social media has sparked outrage amongst the citizens against Indian Railways for its decisive negligence.
Social media users have slammed the Indian Railways with many calling for accountability and improved service standards. The Railways has not issued any official response yet.
'The Vande Bharat Express, touted as symbol of modern rail travel in India, promises comfort and efficiency. However this incident highlights serious maintenance lapses that undermine its reputation,' said Darshil who has also filed a case in consumer court and sought a refund.
