Indian student, Harjot Singh, who was shot four times during the Ukraine conflict, was discharged from the Army hospital in Delhi. While talking to the media about his health, Harjot stated "My health is better than before, as I am here with my family. The doctor said my hands and feet will be treated for about 1 year." The Ukraine returnee sought help of the Government of India for further treatment due to the "poor financial condition" of the family. "My financial condition is not good, my father has retired. I want government of India to help me with further treatment," he added. Harjot, along with his two friends, boarded a cab for the western Ukrainian city of Lviv in a bid to escape Kiev when he was shot four times, including in his chest. Following the incident, Harjot was reportedly taken back to the city and admitted to a hospital. Later, he was brought back to India by Indian Air Force.
