US: Pilot threatens to intentionally crash a plane into Mississippi Walmart

Mississippi (US), September 3: A pilot has been flying a plane in circles over the city for hours, threatening to crash into a WalMart store, Police in Tupelo said on Saturday. Taking to Facebook, the Tupelo Police Department informed that it around 5 a.m received reports that the plane was flying over the city. The pilot had called an emergency line and “threatening to intentionally crash into Wal Mart on West Main,” the department said, US media reported. According to reports, police have spoken with the pilot directly and officers were working to evacuate the Walmart and a nearby gas station and “disperse people as much as practical." “Citizens are asked to avoid that area until an all clear is given...With the mobility of an aeroplane of that type the danger zone is much larger than even Tupelo," the Facebook post said.
