Valmiki community withdraws Punjab Bandh call given for August 12

The call for Punjab Bandh given by Valmik Samaj and Bhagwan Valmik Tirth Management Committee on Friday i.e. 12th August was called off today. In a long meeting under the leadership of the Deputy Commissioner, the leaders of the society discussed in detail about the urgent demands of the society and the Deputy Commissioner Sudan was in constant contact with the Chief Minister's Office in this regard. Meanwhile,Chief Minister invited the leaders of the society for a dialogue on August 19, with which the leaders withdrew the bandh call.
