Verka GM Raj Kumar debunks claims of dead rat in curd packet
Mohali, August 12: General Manager, Verka, Raj Kumar, has debunked claims of a dead rat in the packet of a curd. He said legal action would be taken against the complainant, whose action had amounted to tarnishing the image of Verka brand. As per information, Mohit Kumar, a resident of Baltana, Punjab, had lodged a complaint of finding a dead rat the packet of Verka curd. However, Verka GM Raj Kumar termed the allegation as baseless and also gave a live demonstration of the method of filling yogurt in packets. The case Mohit Kumar of Baltana alleged that he along with his grandmother ate some curd from Verka's packet on Tuesday evening and kept the remaining in the fridge. On Wednesday morning, when he opened the packet, there was a dead rat in it.
