Viral Video Case: Victim changes statement, says 'I was never in the video'
In a major turn in Viral Video Case against Sucha Singh Langah, the victim has now taken a dramatic turn from her prior accusation.
The victim who had imposed sexual exploitation and rape charges changed her statement on Wednesday and said, I was not in the video nor do i know who is Sucha Singh'.
Sucha Singh Langah is at the moment present in the district court of Gurdaspur.
Earlier, the victim claimed that she had been sexually exploited and raped by Langah since 2009 under the threat of death. The woman, a widow, said that she was a classmate of Langah's daughter in college.
The woman who complained against Langah to force her for physical relations was seen in compromise position with the former minister. The video clip was handed over the police by the woman herself as evidence of her rape. She alleged that he promised her job in place of her husband who died during duty. She alleged that Langah had also sold her properties fraudulently.
Langah had remained underground earlier but had later surrendered. The police had conducted raids at various places in Punjab to arrest him. -PTC News
