WhatsApp to allow users to hide last seen, online status
Washington (US), July 3: WABetaInfo is here with another sneak peek of what appears to be an updated WhatsApp with improved privacy features.
Users of WhatsApp on iOS will soon be able to hide their current activity status from specific users or from everyone, as well as their online status.
The messaging app will now enable you to hide your 'Last seen status' from anyone outside your contact list. Meanwhile, another option called 'Show as Last Seen' applies the same logic to online status.

The development team is also focusing on message editing and chat message responses. In fact, a few features have already been made available to beta testers in the public. However, the actual time when these features will be available to all users has not been announced yet.
