With 549 new cases, Punjab's COVID-19 tally rises to 1,25,760
Coronavirus Update: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 1,25,760 after 549 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state on Wednesday.
According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab health department on Wednesday, the death toll in the state has increased to 3,925 after 31 COVID patients died due to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.
Amritsar reported 1 new death, Barnala reported 1, Faridkot 1, Ferozpur 2, Hoshiarpur 1, Jalandhar 5, Ludhiana 3, SAS Nagar 9, Muktsar 2, Pathankot 2, Patiala 3, and Sangrur 1.

The total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 1,14,075 after 970 new recoveries were reported from the state in the last 24 hours.
Ludhiana reported 128 new recoveries, Jalandhar 128, Patiala 46, Amritsar 121, Gurdaspur 27, Bathinda 176, Hoshiarpur 56, and Ferozpur 62.

Likewise, Pathankot reported 13 new recoveries, Sangrur 18, Kapurthala 35, Faridkot 24, Muktsar 21, Fazilka 34, Moga 4, Ropar 15, Fatehgarh Sahib 4, Barnala 17, Tarn Taran 2, SBS Nagar 18, and Mansa 21.
Among the new coronavirus cases in Punjab, Ludhiana reported 64, Jalandhar 37, Patiala 51, SAS Nagar 22, Amritsar 22, Gurdaspur 31, Bathinda 68, Hoshiarpur 47 and Ferozepur 6.
Likewise, Pathankot reported 31 new COVID-19 cases, Sangrur 10, Kapurthala 32, Faridkot 15, Muktsar 23, Fazilka 16, Moga 7, Ropar 17, FG Sahib 15, Barnala 10, Tarn Taran 10, SBS Nagar 4 and Mansa 11.
