At least 15 killed after rebel attacks in Pakistan's Balochistan
PTC News Desk: At 15 people were killed in a separatist militant attack in Pakistan's restive southwestern Balochistan region late on Monday. The deceased included two civilians and four law enforcement agents, according to the statement by the Pakistani military.
According to the Pakistan military's Inter-Services Public Relations agency (ISPR), militants, including suicide bombers, attacked the Mach and Kolpur complexes in the southwestern province of Balochistan. It said at least nine militants had been killed, including three suicide bombers.
"Security forces in the vicinity were immediately mobilised who are carrying out the ensuing operation," the intelligence agency said.

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), the most visible of several separatist organisations in the southwestern province of Balochistan, claimed responsibility for the attack.
The group seeks independence for mountainous and mineral-rich Balochistan, Pakistan's largest province by territory but the smallest in terms of population, which has been embroiled in a decades-long insurgency.
Balochistan borders Afghanistan to the north and Iran to the west, and it has a long coastline on the Arabian Sea. It has Pakistan's largest natural gas field and is believed to have even more undiscovered reserves. It is also rich in precious metals, including gold, the production of which has increased in recent years.
