US sanction 4 firms: The US Department of State announced sanctions against three Chinese companies and a Belarus-based firm for supplying missile-related items to Pakistan's ballistic missile program. The sanctioned entities include Xi'an Longde Technology Development Company Limited, Tianjin Creative Source International Trade Co Ltd, and Granpect Company Limited from China, along with Belarus-based Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant.

According to the statement, these companies provided crucial support to Pakistan's ballistic missile program, including its long-range missile efforts. For instance, Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant supplied special vehicle chassis essential for Pakistan's long-range ballistic missile program, while Granpect Company Limited supplied equipment like a filament winding machine, crucial for producing rocket motor cases.

Additionally, Tianjin Creative Source International Trade Co Ltd provided equipment such as stir welding equipment and a linear accelerator system, likely destined for Pakistan's Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), responsible for Pakistan's MTCR Category I ballistic missiles.

As a consequence of the sanctions, all property and interests of the designated entities in the US or under US control are blocked, requiring reporting to the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the Department of Treasury. Moreover, transactions involving these entities or their property are prohibited unless specifically authorized by OFAC. These measures also include blocking entities owned 50% or more by the sanctioned companies and suspending the entry of designated individuals into the United States.
