US seeks answers on alleged Israeli strike at Gaza university
PTC News Desk: A video circulating on social media purportedly shows the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) targeting Gaza's Palestine University main campus building. The United States has sought clarifications from Israel regarding the widely shared footage.
The video captures an apparent deserted university building before explosions, likely caused by concealed bombs, erupt and send shockwaves. US State Department spokesperson David Miller refrained from commenting, citing insufficient information.

Witnesses in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza's main city, reported gunfire and airstrikes, targeting an alleged Hamas stronghold. The Israeli military's Givati Brigade engaged in close-quarters combat, using tank fire and air support, claiming the elimination of dozens of terrorists.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reported intense artillery fire near Al-Amal hospital, with Gaza's health ministry confirming 77 deaths overnight, under Hamas control. Since Hamas's attacks, casualties in Israel stand at around 1,140, mostly civilians. Israel has vowed to "annihilate" Hamas, launching relentless air and ground offensives.
