Likewise, Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan commented: "Congratulation bro and to your lovely family. God bless little beautiful boy ???"
Saha was a part of the Indian cricket team during the recent New Zealand tour. However, Saha failed to get a chance to play in a two-match Test series as Rishabh Pant took over the position behind the stumps. India lost against New Zealand 0-2 in the Test series.

The inclusion of Rishabh Pant over Wriddhiman Saha didn’t go well. Meanwhile, various former cricketers slammed the decision to keep the team’s best wicket-keeper out of the XI against New Zealand.
Now, Saha is likely to play for Bengal in the upcoming Ranji Trophy against Saurashtra which will be played from Monday. He might be included in the lineup in place of opener Abhishek Raman who was struggling for runs.
