While the petrol and diesel prices started taking the limelight and giving trouble to the common man for 16 days in a row, the county woke up to a rather confusing state of mind on Wednesday morning as the price of petrol was dropped by "1 paise" only!
The drop in the price by 1 paise seemed more like a cruel joke on the citizens of India than any sight of relief. Twitter users vented their frustration taking swipes at the government while some resorted to cheeky one-liners to thank the oil companies for the “largesse”.
