Shiromani Akali Dal leader Parambans Singh Romana on Tuesday slammed the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for giving a politically motivated statement in the drugs case.
The SAD leader alleged that instead of talking about its promises, Congress was busy doing politics on the issue of drugs case. "Most Punjab ministers have become puppets of the people sent by the high command", he alleged.

Parambans Singh Romana alleged that the Congress and the AAP were playing a fixed match while Punjab was giving an overwhelming response to the Shiromani Akali Dal.
"There is no fact or evidence of the involvement of Bikram Singh Majithia in the drugs case," he said, adding that the case filed against him was baseless. "The AAP and the Congress are trying to adopt Delhi's agenda in Punjab," he alleged.
He said Punjab and Punjab's youth were being defamed, adding that everyone had the right to seek anticipatory bail.
Taking a dig at the Punjab Government, he said the state-appointed Siddharth Chattopadhyay as the new DGP for only 18 days. His name was never mentioned on the list sent to the UPSC panel.
"Pressure is being mounted on the SSP (Vigilance, Amritsar, to file another case against Bikram Singh Majithia," claimed Shiromani Akali Dal leader Parambans Singh Romana.
