Shiromani Akali Dal leader Parambans Singh Romana on Tuesday slammed the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for giving a politically motivated statement in the drugs case. The SAD leader alleged that instead of talking about its promises, Congress was busy doing politics on the issue of drugs case. "Most Punjab ministers have become puppets of the people sent by the high command", he alleged.

"There is no fact or evidence of the involvement of Bikram Singh Majithia in the drugs case," he said, adding that the case filed against him was baseless. "The AAP and the Congress are trying to adopt Delhi's agenda in Punjab," he alleged.
