Akshay Kumar will appear before Special Investigation Team (SIT) at Punjab Police Head Quarter in Chandigarh on Wednesday, November 21, at 2:30 pm

The name of Akshay Kumar was mentioned in the Justice Ranjit Singh Commission report on sacrilege incidents. It was tabled in Punjab Vidhan Sabha in August this year. The Commission investigated incidents of police firing following sacrilege incidents.

On November 11, Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the police firing incidents in the wake of the Bargari sacrilege case had summoned Prakash Singh Badal, Sukhbir Singh Badal and Akshay Kumar for questioning.
