Farmers' protest: Farmer leaders from 32 kisan unions of Punjab will call on Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi in Chandigarh on November 17.

Giving this information, Buta Singh Burzgill, president of the Bhartiya Kisan Union-Ekta (Dakaunda), said they would take up their demands for the timely supply of DAP and procurement of paddy.

The farmer leaders would also discuss the issue of compensation to the heirs of the martyrs of the farmers' agitation and prompt and immediate payment and employment arrangements.
