Ludhiana-based social media influencer Honey Sethi arrested under NDPS Act for alleged drug consumption
Sethi underwent a medical examination during the investigation and the results reportedly confirmed the presence of narcotic substances in his body
PTC Web Desk: The police have arrested Honey Sethi, a well-known social media influencer, social worker and footwear businessman from the Khanna subdivision of Ludhiana district, on charges related to drug consumption.
The action was taken by Doraha police following complaints and inputs regarding his activities. According to officials, Sethi underwent a medical examination during the investigation and the results reportedly confirmed the presence of narcotic substances in his body.
Based on the medical report, a case has been registered against him under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and he was subsequently taken into custody.
The SHO of Doraha police station stated that the move was initiated on the basis of information and suspicion. “After the medical report confirmed drug consumption, legal proceedings were carried out and the accused was arrested,” he said, adding that further investigation is underway in view of the seriousness of the matter.
Honey Sethi has a significant presence on social media platforms and is known in areas such as Khanna, Payal and Doraha. He has earlier remained in the spotlight for his public statements and online activities.
