Notorious gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria brought to Punjab from Assams Silchar Jail
Jaggu Bhagwanpuria has also filed a petition in the High Court, expressing fear that he might be killed in a fake encounter.
PTC News Desk: Notorious gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria has been brought to Punjab from Assam's Silchar Jail. He had been incarated in Silchar Jail since March under stringent under the NDPS and PT Acts.
At around 1 am on Thursday, he was brought to Amritsar’s Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport, from where he was directly taken to Batala. Bhagwanpuria's arrival in Punjab comes months after his mother was shot dead in gang rivalry.
Jaggu has also filed a petition in the High Court, expressing fear that he might be killed in a fake encounter. His name had surfaced in connection with the murder of Sidhu Moosewala. He is accused of providing vehicles and weapons to the Lawrence gang’s shooters.
