Punjab singer-actor Amar Noori gets threat call; police close in on three suspects

PTC Web Desk:  The Punjab Police have intensified their investigation after renowned Punjabi singer and actor Amar Noori received a threat call earlier this month. Confirming the development, DSP Mohit Singla said the threat call was received on December 16 and the matter is being treated with utmost seriousness.

According to the DSP, the police have so far identified and questioned three persons in connection with the case. Intensive interrogation is underway to trace the actual perpetrators behind the threatening call. Authorities are also examining all technical and factual evidence, including call records, to establish the source and intent of the threat.

The DSP stated that any person found involved during the course of the investigation would be arrested without delay. He said those attempting to disrupt law and order would not be spared under any circumstances.

Considering the gravity of the situation, the police have provided security to Amar Noori. Police personnel have been deployed at his residence and nearby areas to prevent any untoward incident. Senior officials have assured that the case will be resolved soon and the guilty will be punished strictly as per the law.
