Tiger abhi zinda hai: Bikram Singh Majithias first reaction as he walks out of Nabha jail

PTC News Desk: Former Punjab minister and senior SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia waalked out of Nabha jail on Tuesday. The Supreme Court on Monday granted him bail on Monday in disproportionate case.
The Punjab Vigilance Bureau arrested Majithia from his Amritsar residence on June 25 last year in the disproportionate assets case allegedly involving the laundering of Rs 540 crore of drug money.
As Majithia exited the prion, he twirled his trademark moustache and was greeted by several Akali Dal workers. Slogans of 'Bikram Majithia zindabad were chanted outside the prison as he walked out.
Majithia is likely to pay obeisance at Gurdwara Dukhniwaran Sahib following his release.
As soon as he addressed media, he sent an explicit message to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann asserting, “I survived on brinjals inside the jail, what will be your fate Bhagwant Mann (tera ki banu samba)”, adding that, “na Majithia rukugaa, na Majithia jhukugaa.”
He also thanked SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal and several other opposition leaders Sunil Jakhar, Capt Amarinder Singh, Sukhbir Charanjit Singh Channi, Tarun Chugh, and Sukhpal Khaira, claiming that they stood by him during bad times.
The Akali leader's wife, Ganieve Kaur Majithia, was also present and thanked God and the Supreme Court.
"This is the victory of truth. The government had forgotten that there is God above," she told reporters.
Ahead of Majithia's release, security outside the Nabha jail was significantly heightened with the deployment of several police officials and heavy barricading.
