Veteran journalist and former president of Chandigarh Press Club Nalin Acharya passes away
According to the information, Nalin Acharya’s health suddenly deteriorated on Saturday after which he was rushed to to PGI, where he passed away this morning.
PTC News Desk: Veteran journalist and former president of Chandigarh Press Club Nalin Acharya passed away after prolonged illness. His cremation was held at crematorium in sector 25, Chandigarh.
According to the information, Nalin Acharya’s health suddenly deteriorated on Saturday after which he was rushed to to PGI, where he passed away this morning.
As per details shared by the Senior Journalists’ Forum, his condition worsened suddenly yesterday, and he was taken to PGI for treatment. There, he died this morning.
SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal condoled Acharya's death. He took to his social media and wrote, "Deeply saddened to learn about the passing of senior journalist Nalin Acharya, former President of the Chandigarh Press Club.
His unwavering commitment to journalism and tireless service to the press community will always be remembered. My heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues, and loved ones during this profound time of grief. May his soul rest in peace."
