Virat Kohli remembers epic run-chase with MS Dhoni against Australia in T20 World Cup 2016

Indian skipper Virat Kohli posted a throwback picture of a memorable moment in the WT20 match against Australia with MS Dhoni. India registered an incredible victory in the match to proceed to the semi-finals of WT20 2016 at Punjab Cricket Association, IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali on March 27, 2016.

Australia managed to score 160 runs at the loss of 6 wickets. However, the Indian top order struggled during the chase. Shikhar Dhawan went back to the pavilion after scoring just 13 runs off 12 balls, while Rohit Sharma was dismissed by Shane Watson early at 12 runs. Suresh Raina became the victim of a slower short ball down leg by Shane Watson and went off the crease after scoring just 10 runs.

India lost three wickets for 49 runs in 7.4 overs in a 161-run chase when Virat Kohli took charge. His 45-run partnership with Yuvraj Singh and 67-run stand with captain MS Dhoni saved the day.

Kohli played a match-winning knock of 82 runs off just 51 balls, while Maahi scored 18 runs off 10 balls. Sharing the picture, Virat Kohli added the caption, "A game I can never forget. Special night. This man made me run like in a fitness test."
