Battlegrounds Mobile India sending data of Indian players to China servers: Report
In a piece of bad news for lakhs of users of Battlegrounds Mobile (BGM) India, which is seen as the Indian version of PUBG Mobile India, the game has been allegedly found sending data to servers in China. As per the report, Battlegrounds Mobile India has been allegedly sending data of Indian players to servers in China including one belonging to Tencent, the developer of PUBG Mobile. Also Read | Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) download link revealed on Google Play Store The Indian version of PUBG Mobile India has also been allegedly found relaying data between servers which are located in Hong Kong, Moscow, the US, and Mumbai. It may be recalled that PUBG Mobile was banned by the government of India in September 2020 due to data privacy concerns. Meanwhile, the South Korean company Krafton had started the rollout of the early access of Battlegrounds Mobile India and Open Beta on the Android platform on Thursday (June 18). The users can download BGM India on their Android devices. PUBG Mobile India lovers are doing using the APK and OBB files or via the Google Play Store.
