Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday cut down her longest ever Union Budget speech after feeling unwell. She paused mid-way and settled down because she was not well. Finance Minister was sweating and standing for nearly two and a half hours. She had some sugar and wiped the sweat from her forehead. Nirmala Sitharaman finished her speech while only two more pages of the Budget 2020, were left. According to the information, her blood pressure dropped and she was advised to sit. Meanwhile, the colleagues offered her candies. Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal offered her a glass of water. Later, Finance Minister said she was feeling better and went to Rajya Sabha to place the Budget in the house. Nirmala Sitharaman has succeeded in overtaking her own record of the longest Budget speech ever. Last year, Nirmala's budget speech was of two hours, 17 minutes. This year, she stopped after addressing for two hours and 41 minutes.
