CBSE Class 12 Exam 2020: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to make major changes in the examination for Class 12 students for the session 2019-2020. CBSE will now give more importance to the internal assessment in the new exam pattern for the Class 12 CBSE students. As per the report, there will be changes in the question paper format of the Class 12 Board Exam. Also, it has been reported that the CBSE will now allot a number of objective type questions. The CBSE Board has decided to make major changes in an order to discourage rote learning and develop analytical learning. Also, this is done to improve the REASONING ABILITIES of the students. Likewise, the board believes that this step will produce better results and improve the quality of the educational institutions. Therefore, 20 percent of marks will be kept for INTERNAL ASSESSMENT in all subjects from the 2020 examinations. However, the weight will remain the same for the science subjects and fine arts. Adding on, the board has proposed to make changes in the pattern of PRACTICAL EXAMINATION. Hence, the practical examination which used to be conducted in the same school will now be carried out at the EXTERNAL CENTRES, just like the theories for both Class 10 and Class 12 boards., from 2020. Therefore, the students may have to visit external centers for both theory and practical exams, from the next examination. The board will reduce the number of copies to be evaluated in a day to ease the pressure of copy coordination.
