Comedian Raju Srivastava suffers cardiac arrest, now 'out of danger'

New Delhi, August 10: Comedian Sunil Pal on Wednesday updated about Raju Srivastava's health and said he is now 'out of danger.'


Comedian Raju Srivastava suffered a cardiac arrest while working out on Wednesday morning after which he was rushed to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi for treatment.


According to reports, while working out at the gym, the comedian suddenly experienced chest pain and collapsed. He was, reportedly, running on the treadmill before he collapsed of chest pain.

The comedian is recovering and will be kept under observation for a few days before being discharged.

Raju Srivastava has appeared in many films like Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar, Bombay to Goa, and Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya. The comedian-actor also appeared in the third season of the reality show Bigg Boss. He rose to fame after performing as a stand-up comedian on the show 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.'
