Chandigarh reports 2 new cases of coronavirus, but not from Bapu Dham Colony

Chandigarh on Monday reported two new positive cases of coronavirus taking the total number of COVID-19 tally to 408. According to the information, a 62-year-old woman from Dadu Majra and a 37-year-old man from Sector 50, were tested positive for the novel virus. Of the total 408 cases in the Union Territory, most of them have been reported from the Bapu Dham colony in Sector 26. Reportedly, Chandigarh municipal corporation and health department team quarantined 54 people in Dadu Majra village after a positive case was reported in the morning. Likewise, the municipal corporation and health department team quarantined some people in Sector 22 after a positive case reported from the area on Sunday. Earlier, a new case was reported from Mauli Jagran. as well.
