Coronavirus: 3 positive cases reported in Nawanshahr; total number of cases in Punjab 29
After three family members tested positive for coronavirus in Phillaur, Jalandhar, on Tuesday, three more people have been tested positive for COVID 19 in Nawanshahr. Meanwhile, the total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has jumped to 29.
On Monday, two cases were reported, one each from Mohali and Nawanshahr. Meanwhile, Punjab has reported one death so far who was identified as Baldev Singh, who died of heart attack in Banga Civil hospital, later tested positive.
Hence for the good of everyone, curfew has been imposed. We have already taken necessary steps to help elderly and underprivileged. All must adhere and cooperate."
