ABVP sweeps DUSU elections, Aryan Maan clinches President's post
PTC News Desk: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), student wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) swept the Delhi University Student Union elections after clinching the president, secretary and joint secretary posts.
Aryan Maan secured the president position defeating Congress-affiliated NSUI candidate Joslyn Nandita Choudhary by over 16,000 votes.
Aryan secured 28,841 votes, while NSUI’s Joslyn managed 12,645. Of the four posts, ABVP won three — President, Secretary, and Joint Secretary — but lost the Vice President’s seat. NSUI’s Rahul Jhansla won the Vice President’s post.

The Delhi University Student Union elections witnessed a massive footfall with over 2.75 lakh votes cast across 50 constituent colleges. Polling was concuted at 52 centres with 195 booths, where 711 Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) were deployed. The final turnout stood at 39.45 percent.
