Delhi horror: Four-year-old battling for life after thrown off 30-ft cliff by teen neighbour to seek revenge from mother
PTC News Desk: A four-year-old boy is battling for his life after being kidnapped, pushed off a 30-foot cliff, and attacked with a rock by a 15-year-old in Delhi’s Anand Parbat forest area. The teenager has been taken into custody and allegedly confessed that he wanted revenge against the child’s mother over an incident that led to his own father scolding him.
Police were alerted on September 17 after the boy went missing. His mother reported that he vanished around 6:30 pm after returning from tuition classes and playing near their home. Despite an extensive search, he could not be found, prompting police to register a kidnapping case under Section 137(2) of the BNS.
CCTV footage later revealed the minor being led away by the teenager, whom the child’s mother immediately identified as their neighbour. The accused was arrested from his house. Police said the 15-year-old had dropped out after Class X, and both families live in the same rented property where they also run shops.
The motive behind this violent act was the physical punishment that the teenager faced from his father after he took landlord's bike without taking permission on September 17 and abandoned it in another area. The 4-year-old 's mother informed the landlord about the same. The aggrieved teenager then lured the child away when he was playing and took him to a forested areas in Ramjas Park.
He then pushed the child off a cliff and then subjected him to physical torture with an intent to inflict serious injuries.
