Earlier in the week, many terrorist activities have taken place in Jammu and Kashmir.
On December 21, an Army soldier was killed along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district in Jammu and Kashmir. The soldier was killed in a firing from across the LoC.

Earlier on December 6, an Army soldier was killed in firing by Pakistani troops, while a BSF jawan lost his life in a sniper attack along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.
