Katrina Kaif, Vijay Sethupathi share intriguing poster of ‘Merry Christmas’; know release date, cast & more
Mumbai (Maharashtra), July 17: The party is not over yet. As actor Katrina Kaif turned a year older on Sunday, she surprised fans with a return gift by announcing the release date of her next movie 'Merry Christmas'.
On Instagram, Tips Films shared a poster featuring Katrina and Vijay Sethupathi in their intense avatar along with release announcement and captioned, “We decided to cut short the wait for the Christmas cheer! #MerryChristmas releasing in theatres near you ON 15th DECEMBER 2023.”
'Merry Christmas,' directed by Sriram Raghavan, stars Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi in the key roles.
'Merry Christmas,' a genre-defying tale from the filmmaker of Johnny Gaddaar, Badlapur, and Andhadhun, is presented by Tips Films and Matchbox Pictures. With the promise that it will be as different from those films as they are from each other.
'Merry Christmas' is shot in two languages and has a variety of supporting actors.

Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand co-star in the Hindi version, while Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams co-star in the Tamil version. This would undoubtedly heighten the level of excitement among fans globally. Pari, a child actor, is also introduced in the film.
Ashwini Kalsekar and Radhika Apte make cameos in the film.
Merry Christmas is scheduled for worldwide release on December 15, 2023.
Aside from that, Katrina will co-star in Farhan Akhtar's forthcoming film 'Jee Le Zara' starring Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra.
Following in the footsteps of 'Dil Chahta Hai' and 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara,' the film promises to be another tale of friendship.
She will also appear in the upcoming action-thriller 'Tiger 3' alongside Salman Khan. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on Diwali 2023.
Vijay Sethupathi, on the other hand, will appear in Atlee's 'Jawan'. 'Jawan' will be released in theatres on September 7.
