Samantha Ruth Prabhu ties the knot with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, shares dreamy pictures on social media
PTC News Desk: Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu married filmmaker Raj Nidimoru in a private ceremony at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore on Monday morning. The wedding was an intimate affair with close family and friends in attendance.
Samantha was donned in red saree while Raj Nidimoru chose a white kurta, pyjama and a cream bandhgala for their ceremony. She looked absolute gorgeous with her hair neatly tied into a bun and adorned with gold and diamond jewellery.
The couple performed Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha ceremony at the Linga Bhairavi Devi temple. This ritual, offered at Linga Bhairavi temples or selected venues, is meant to purify the five elements within the couple, blessing their relationship with harmony, prosperity and spiritual balance. Rumours about the wedding began on Sunday night, and were later confirmed by people who attended. The ceremony was intimate, with only around 30 guests present.
They have reportedly been dating for a few years. Over the past year, Samantha has posted several photos with Raj on social media, which strengthened speculation about their relationship.
Samantha was earlier married to actor Naga Chaitanya, but the two separated four years after their wedding. Naga Chaitanya later married actor Sobhita Dhulipala. Raj Nidimoru is said to have divorced Sshyamali De in 2022.
News about Samantha and Raj’s close association had surfaced earlier in 2024. They have worked together on The Family Man 2, Citadel: Honey Bunny, and the upcoming Rakht Brahmand. Raj was also the creative producer for her first production, Subham.
