Unexpected collab: When Diljit Dosanjh, A. R. Rahman, and Imtiaz Ali come together, people naturally expect something big. The three have teamed up for the first time for the song Kya Kamaal Hai from their upcoming film Main Vaapas Aaunga.
Photos and videos of the trio, along with songwriter Irshad Kamil, appeared online on Sunday. They were seen posing for photographers and interacting with them, which quickly created buzz and excitement around the project.
The song Kya Kamaal Hai is part of the film’s music album. The movie is set to release in cinemas on June 12, and the lyrics of the song are written by Kamil, adding more appeal to the collaboration.
Main Vaapas Aaunga is a romantic drama directed by Imtiaz Ali. It stars Diljit Dosanjh along with Sharvari Wagh, Agastya Nanda, and Naseeruddin Shah. The teaser, released on March 13, 2026, gives a glimpse of an emotional story that goes beyond a typical love story.
