India is a week away to step in its 75th year of independence. To celebrate this milestone several government bodies have come up with innovative ideas- one them being ‘Badhe Chalo Movement’  that is successfully rocking the country since August 5. And today, the loud chants of Badhe Chalo! Lehra do, Fehra do, Har Ghar Tiranga! Resonated at Amritsar’s popular tourist site Wagah border. The youth anthem proudly criss-crossed through the borders while flash dancers danced heart out with an unmatched patriotic fervour. The visitors too joined in the gala event celebrating the 75 years of independence. Along with Wagah border, Badhe Chalo Flashdance rocked Amritsar, Kota, Shillong, Cuttack, Kochi, Pune, Jabalpur, Karimnagar, Vijayawada and Prayagraj. Badhe Chalo movement has been gaining traction day after day. It will continue to spread the message of Har Ghar Tiranga for 4 more days, covering 75 cities across India and will culminate with a Grand Finale at New Delhi. The Grand Finale will be held on 12th August, 2022 at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi. This spectacular star-studded event will feature performances by the Indian Idol stars Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal. The entry will be free for the masses and will allow them to witness the magic in person and enjoy the festivities of the event. Badhe Chalo! Is a youth centric activation conceived by Ministry of Culture for greater outreach of Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The objective is to connect with the youth of our nation and to instil a deeper sense of patriotism among them.
