Farm Laws are in best interests of India’s farmers: Rajnath Singh

While farmers are sitting at Delhi borders in a protest against farm laws 2020, the Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday said that there was no question of taking retrograde steps against our agricultural sector ever. Addressing FICCI's 93rd annual general meeting, Rajnath Singh said that "Agriculture has been one sector which has been able to avoid the adverse effects of the pandemic and, in fact, come out the best." Pakistan Minister, Fawad Chaudhry, on farmers protest in India, tried to exploit the farmers’ protest in India over the farm laws 2020. "Our produce and procurement have been plentiful and our warehouses are full," Singh added. The recent reforms have been undertaken with the best interests of India’s farmers in mind." Pakistan Minister, Fawad Chaudhry, on farmers protest in India, tried to exploit the farmers’ protest in India over the farm laws 2020. He further said that "We are, however, always willing to listen to our farmer brothers, alley their misgivings and provide them with assurances we can provide. Our Government is always open to discussion and dialogue." Amid farmers protest against farm laws 2020, Rajnath Singh said there was no question of taking retrograde steps against agricultural sector. "The coming generations of this nation will be proud of what our forces have managed to achieve this year. Whenever there is a situation at the LAC, the most obvious outcome is a comparison between India and China’s military strength," the Defence Minister said.
