At least five people,including three Assam Rifles jawan were injured in a blast near polo ground in Imphal on Thursday.

According to the information , the blast occurred at Mapal Kangjaibung area near Polo ground in Imphal in which two civilians and three jawans got injured in the blast.According to a police official , suspected militant group triggered the explosion.

The injured persons were admitted at the nearest hospital, where they are under going treatment.
