New Delhi: A team of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) was honoured by Harmeet Singh Kalka, general secretary of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DSGMC), at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib in New Delhi, on Friday. The SKM team had gone to Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, New Delhi, to pay obeisance and thank the Almighty for their "victory" against the three farm laws. Harmeet Singh Kalka of the DSGMC, New Delhi, lauded the farmers for their peaceful protest in support of their demands. He said with the blessings of Guru Sahib, protesting farmers managed to get the three farm laws repealed, as the Central Government had no other option than to bow down before farmers' demands.

On behalf of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha, Balbir Singh Rajewal apologised to commuters, especially those from Delhi, for all inconvenience caused to them during the farmers' agitation. He said they were forced to launch the stir as the government was adamant on not accepting their demands.
