Shiromani Akali Dal's candidate Harpal Juneja who contested the Punjab Assembly elections 2022 from the Patiala Urban constituency. Harpal Juneja has been the President of Shiromani Akali Dal Patiala. He is a close confidant of Bikramjit Singh Majithia and was earlier President of Youth Akali Dal Malwa Zone 2. However, he lost the battle as he bagged only 11835 votes.
