Bhavya Gandhi, who played the role of Tapu on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah quit the show a while ago leaving multiple rumors.
Bhavya Gandhi has finally opened up about his exit from one of the longest-running sitcoms of Indian television, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He has been adored as Tapu for the longest time and there were reports that he was fired from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah for professional misconduct.
But he cleared the air and said that people can say what they want to, but he knows the truth and he does not care what they think. Revealing the real reason for leaving the show, he said that his role had gotten a little monotonous and he wanted to grow as a professional and explore other options.

Bhavya elaborated that people still refer to him as Tapu and he is completely okay with it because the role has made him who he is.
He also revealed that he shares a great bond with his on-screen mother, Disha Vakani, who is still in the grey about joining the show again.
