Himachal Pradesh: 3 People including 2 children killed as bus plunges into a gorge in Shimla

At least three people including two school children killed and many injured as bus fell into a gorge in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, here on Monday. The incident took place near Khalini village. The bus driver of the Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation died on the spot and two other students lost their lives after being taken to the hospital following the serious injuries.

The officials said that the rescue operation is underway to take out the passengers, which includes most of them as school children. The incident took the lives of three people, which includes a bus driver and two students who succumbed to their injuries as the bus fell into a gorge in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. This was the second incident of the day, as another bus fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar which took the lives of 33 people and 24 are injured.

Likewise, a few days before the bus fell into a gorge near Peer Ki Gali in Shopian district, Jammu and Kashmir, in which almost 11 students were killed. Meanwhile, about the Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar incident, the accident took so many lives and hence the Union Home Minister himself have condoled the incident.
