New Delhi, February 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday hit back at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his attack on the Central government for not issuing a clarification in Parliament on matters like the Indo-China border dispute and increasing unemployment. Slamming the Congress MP, PM Modi said that detailed answers were given by respective ministries and he had also spoken on some issues whenever and wherever it was necessary. During an interview with ANI, PM Modi dubbed Rahul Gandhi as a "person who does not listen and does not sit in the House." Emphasising that he welcomes debate in Parliament, the PM stated that he and his government do not attack anyone and believe in dialogue. PM Modi hits back at Rahul Gandhi Further responding to Congress allegations that he did not answer Rahul Gandhi's questions on unemployment, the India-China issue and attacked Congress instead, the Prime Minister said "I don't know the language to attack and it is not in my nature. However, based on logic and facts, the media may interpret my remarks in the House as an attempt to stir up some controversy." PM Modi hits back at Rahul Gandhi Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had said that the BJP-led government was "scared of Congress" in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's scathing attack on the party during his addresses in Parliament. He claimed that the Prime Minister's "fear of Congress" was mirrored in Parliament, where he focused on criticising the party rather than discussing the BJP's promises. On February 2, when Rahul Gandhi spoke in the Lok Sabha on behalf of the Opposition, he slammed the Central government and Prime Minister Modi on unemployment, inflation and the India-China border issue. PM Modi hits back at Rahul Gandhi Later, on February 7, during a debate in the Lok Sabha on the Motion of Thanks to the President's Address, PM Modi remarked that the Congress' policy is "divide and rule," and that it has become the "tukde tukde" gang's leader. On February 8, PM Modi stated in the Rajya Sabha that the Congress' ideology had been hijacked by 'urban Naxals.' He claimed that if the Congress did not exist, there would be no Emergency, no caste politics and no massacres of Sikhs.
