IB to interrogate Khalistani terrorists arrested in Haryana's Sonepat

Four alleged Khalistani terrorists who were arrested with a cache of illegal weapons in Haryana's Sonepat are to be interrogated by a team of Intelligence Bureau (IB). A team of five IB officials from Delhi reached Sonepat on Monday to interrogate the arrested accused, according to sources. Meanwhile, the Haryana police team led by Sonepat DSP Vipin Kadyan has been already interrogating the four alleged Khalistani terrorists after getting the eight-day custody. On Saturday, four individuals who are allegedly associated with Khalistani terrorist group were apprehended in Sonepat. The police have seized an automatic AK-47, four foreign pistols, one countrymade pistol, and 56 cartridges from their possession. IB to questionIB to question Khalistani terrorists Khalistani terrorists The arrested accused have been identified as Jatin alias Rajesh, Sagar alias Binni, Sunil alias Pahalwan and Surendra. They are said to be residents of Juan village of Sonepat. IB to question Khalistani terrorists As per the primary probe, the illegal weapons were provided by Khalistani terrorists, who also had deposited lakhs in the accused’s bank accounts. As per police, the arrested accused were allegedly in touch with Khalistani separatists Lakhbir Singh Rode (International Sikh Youth Federation, based in Pakistan), Australia-based Gurjant Singh, alias Janta, and Hardeep Singh Nijjar and Arshdeep Singh Dala, both based in Canada. IB to question Khalistani terrorists “The arrested accused were connected to the main leaders of the Khalistan Tiger Force, International Sikh Youth Federation through social media. They have also admitted to killing one Avtar Singh in Udhampur Kalan village of Punjab on the behest of Khalistani leaders," revealed SP Sharma.
