“Ignore the monkeys and walk away”, Lok Sabha issues important notification
Ahead of winter Parliament session, Lok Sabha Secretariat has issued a circular to all members on how to deal with the monkeys.
In the circular, the Lok Sabha Secretariat has suggested that members should not stop in case a monkey collides with their vehicle. The circular reads, “Ignore the monkey and walk away calmly.”
Due to rampant monkey menace, most of the times dustbins are found upside down and litter is spread all over inside the premises. However, ahead of winter parliament session, Lok Sabha secretariat issued a circular named “general steps” to deal with the monkeys.

In its circular, the Parliament of the Lok Sabha suggested that people should not stop in case a monkey collides with their vehicle. The circular reads that, “Ignore the monkey and walk away calmly,”
It also suggested that a direct eye contact with monkeys should be avoided. Also running away from monkeys, besides hitting or feeding them should be avoided. Another recommendation says that avoid crossing the path between a mother and her infant.

“Do not ever hit any monkey. Keep hitting the ground with a big stick to make monkey leave your house or garden.” also reads the circular.
Another suggestion is to ignore the animal and make a loud noise to force it to leave the premises.
