India logs 14,917 fresh Covid-19 cases, 32 deaths
New Delhi, August 15: As many as 14,917 fresh Covid-19 cases and 32 deaths were reported in India on Monday. The daily coronavirus positivity rate is 7.52 per cent, says the data updated by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
With 14,917 fresh Covid cases, India's case tally has reached 4,42,68,381, of which 1,17,508 are active cases. The active coronavirus caseload account for 0.27 per cent of the total cases. Currently, the recovery rate stands at 98.54 per cent.
At least 14,238 persons recovered in the last 24 hours taking, the total recoveries to 4,36,23,804.

The death toll has climbed to 5,27,069, the government data updated at 8 am stated. Of the 1,98,271 coronavirus tests conducted in the last 24 hours, a positivity rate of 7.52 per cent was observed. The weekly positivity rate is at 4.65 per cent.
As many as 25,50,276 doses of Covid vaccination were administered in the last 24 hours and over 208.25 crore total vaccine doses have been administered under the nationwide coronavirus vaccination drive so far.

The Covid side-effects
According to a study, individuals most frequently felt exhaustion and headaches more than four months after getting Covid-19. The subsequent symptoms in the long list of persistent symptoms included muscle aches, coughing, changes in taste and smell, fever, chills, and nasal congestion.
