India whitewash South Africa in a Test series for first time in history

India vs South Africa 3rd Test: India defeated Proteas by an innings and 202 runs in the third Test at the JSCA stadium in Ranchi on Tuesday to seal the series with 3-0 win. It is for the first time India has whitewashed South Africa in the history of Test cricket. Now, India has won six Test matches in a row on home turf. Also, it was one of the biggest defeats for South Africa. Rohit Sharma is one of the Indian batsmen outscoring opposition in each innings.

The biggest positive for India has been Rohit Sharma. There were a lot of expectations from the Hitman, and he has delivered it in the best possible way. It was a phenomenal approach by him throughout the series. Giving himself some time in the first hour or so and then coming into his own. The bowlers too didn’t disappoint either, be it the spinners or be it the pacers.
