Indian-Origin executive to head Facebook's tool for office communication Facebook on Wednesday announced that their Indian-origin Senior Executive, Karandeep Anand, will now head company’s giant enterprise communications tool, named ‘Workplace.’ Facebook told the media sources that it is excited that Karandeep would be joining 'Workplace' as its new head. The team includes engineers, data scientists, developers and researchers. He was earlier heading 'Product for Facebook Marketplace and Payments services' department. Workplace brings the power of shaping culture by connecting people at work in ways never imagined before.” Before joining Facebook, Karandeep used to work with Microsoft for 15 years. He took over many key roles back in Microsoft.
